The Ghana Boxing Authority, GBA, has instructed the attachment of the 40 individuals recently trained in basic referee/judge course to some selected boxing gyms.
The move according to the GBA president, Abraham Kotei Neequaye, is part of effort to accelerate the and improve the skills of the new ring officials.
GBA New Referee/Judges Trainees Practical Attachment
The new referee/judges have therefore been divided into three groups and attached to the Charles Quartey Boxing Foundation, Attoh Quarshie Boxing Gymnasium and Wisdom Boxing Gymnasiums for two months.
The referee/judges are to be present at the training sessions of the three boxing gyms every Thursday and Friday within the two months period for their practical sessions.

They are to report to the head coaches of the selected gyms for their training schedules and other details.
