Ghana’s world title hopeful Sena Agbeko has entered into the World Boxing Council’s top 15 boxers in the Super Middleweight division.
The “African Assassin” as he’s called, bulldozed his way into the World top ratings after recording a steady string of impressive victories over Daniel Mendez, Apollo Thompson, Winfred Harris Jnr and most recently over highly touted Isaiah Steen.
Sena Agbeko who is currently the US-WBC Champion is ranked No.15 just behind Edgar Berlanga and Anthony Dirrell who are ranked 13th and 14th respectively. Mexican Superstar Saul Canelo Alvarez holds the trinket in the 168 lbs division whiles Caleb Plant, Christian Mbili and Daniel Jacobs occupy the top three.
Having already called out Caleb Plant for a showdown, the African Warrior has emphatically declared his readiness to square up against any of the champions and top contenders.
Sena is highly motivated to pursue the trail blazed by legendary Azumah Nelson, Ike Bazooka Quartey, D.K Poison, Joseph Agbeko and other prominent world champions who have emerged from Ghana; a nation once known as The Gold Coast.
Indeed, Sena Agbeko is going for gold.
