AYAWASO CP FOOTBALL SHOWS LOVE TO DZORWULU SPECIAL SCHOOL ON WORLD CP DAY

As part of celebrations on October 6th, World CP Day, the ambitious CP Football club of Ayawaso led by chairman, Emmanuel Akpabli and his entourage donated food items to the students of the Dzorwulu special school in Accra.

The visit was timely as the students at the school, living with Cerebral Palsy,were over elated at seeing their fellow CP Football players.

The items donated includes Toiletries, Rice, soap, and foodstuffs.

On his opening remarks the principal of the school, Mr. Tetteh was of sufficient praise to the Ayawaso CP Football club and their charges for living up to their pledge to visit them on the an important day like this.

The students sang in happiness and enjoyed the euphoria on seeing their colleagues. They entertained the team with morale songs amidst dancing.

The President of the Ayawaso Physically Challenged Sports Foundation/ CP Football club mentioned that on a day like this The priority was on persons living with Cerebral Palsy and that it was vital to celebrate them. The chairman implored the authorities of the Game to help the CP players enjoy what they love most – Football.

Mr. Akpabli implored the hierarchy of CP Football in Ghana to be serious in sustaining the interest of the players since that is their future.

Amongst the dignitaries who followed up to the visit were Ken Kal, a CP advocate and Philanthropist, Abdul Mustapha , Technical Director for the Foundation, A high level security officer,Chief Inspector Monica Ponlaga of the Ghana Police Service, Christabel Yelisong, Senior Nursing staff officer for the Team, Patience Brese, Assistant nursing staff, and the media.

The principal of the school mentioned his delight on the visit again and promised to engage the Ayawaso CP Football club on a local friendly very soon.

The world CP Day is celebrated all over the World and this visit is no exception.
