Preparations are ongoing for the Ayawaso Cerebral Palsy Football club to take revenge for the National side who were defeated 7-1 by their Nigerian counterparts two years ago at the Winneba sports college.
The visiting Nigerians were of no mercy on their Ghanaian counterparts in the first friendly with that painful scoreline that sank the pride of the Ghanaians.
But the determination and training regiment of Ayawaso CP Football club based in Accra are all set to extinguish the greenery bluff of the Nigerians as both sides prepare to for a “repeat or revenge” showdown in Nigeria early next month.
The Ayawaso Cerebral Palsy Football club is under the tutelage of President and Chief Executive Officer, Emmanuel Akpabli , who in recent times has been the sole financier of the club.
Currently, the Team trains at the Independence Square beach twice a day . The club engaged a series of friendlies over the last few weeks with great recovery and team play.
Meanwhile, a communique from Nigeria to the Ghanaian side indicates they are heavily in waiting for the Ghanaian team to inflict a second dose of defeat on them.
But captain of the Ghanaian club side Emmanuel Aryee has called off the bluff of the Nigerians and has assured the country of total victory when they storm Nigeria next month.
In a related development, the Ayawaso Physically Challenged football club has paid a courtesy visit to Naa Densua Afriyie III, Manye of Mayera Okaiman, Nii To Tsuru We Otublohum, Konten hemaa of Otublohum in her residence as an honour of this year’s Homowo festival.
