Ghana’s William Amponsah will compete in the Great North Run in Newcastle, UK on September 11, 2022.
The Great North Run is one of the world’s largest Half Marathons with over 60,000 runners.
William will be the first Ghanaian to run in the competition.
He competed at the Commonwealth Games and broke the national 5,000 m record though he did not place among the medalist.
