The Cartel Foundation which is a charitable organization has been launched at the Nii Kojo Ababio Cluster of schools at Korle Gonno in Accra under the theme “Let’s Make Difference With Charity”.
The Foundation was launched by the National Chief Imam Dr. Sheikh Osumanu Nuhu Sharubutu and Hon. Dr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South. Present was the Queen Mother of Korle Gonno Naa Adua Okropong 1.
A representative of the Chief Imam who graced the event commended Cartel Foundation for the vision and inspiration to help others.
Hon. Okoe Vanderpuije said such non governmental organizations need attention and support.
President of Cartel Foundation, Mr. Henry Halm Owoo said their objective is to support the vulnerable and less privileged in society.
He thanked his wife for the marvelous and massive assistance and appealed to wealthy people to support others who cannot afford some basic needs.
He thanked all those who have encouraged and supported the Cartel Foundation initiative, especially the medical and health personnel.
Members of the general public from Korle Gonno, Mamprobi and Chorkor who graced the occasion had the benefits to be screened medically and physically, while hundreds of children and students were issued with free National Health Insurance Cards.
The event was supported by the National Health Insurance Authority, Saah G Tours, TPC Pharmaceuticals, Right-way Engineering, Prestige Rental Services, Don Engineering Services, Jessy’s Prestige & Luxury Services, Dontru Ventures, True Chain Ghana Limited, HenHel Ventures, Cartel Services, Gifted Ears Ghana, l Care Eye Team, GB Pharmanoble and some noble health officials, doctors and nurses.
