Following the successful organization of the just ended National Cycling Championships over the weekend, another blockbuster event dubbed “Tour Du Ghana” will manifest next month from the 6-12th July,2022 in five regions.
The program outline of the Tour is already out following a night to dawn Technical meeting held yesterday by the Technical Department headed by Shaaban Mohammed.
The Tour begins on the 6th of July 2022 from Accra to Winneba in the Central Region from the Accra sports stadium and ends at the Accra sports stadium. It will cover a distance of 126km.
On the 7th of July the second stage will roll from the Accra sports stadium to Suhum in the Eastern Region and back to the same start point covering a distance of 132.6km.
The third stage will begin from the Accra sports stadium through Adenta to Dodowa through to Larteh to Mamfe into Aburi and back to the Accra sports stadium covering a distance of 146km.
The 10th of July 2022, would be a break respecting the holy day of Salah celebrations.
On the 11th of July, the 5th stage continues from Accra to Sogakope into Ada with a distance of 151.8km with the finish point in Ada.
The last stage will see the fleet of riders combing the Olebu -Ablekuma circuit in 120km to climax the Tour.
The 12th of July will emcompasse all riders and officials at the Hockey Pitch for the final winners circle and lunch.
