Charles Osei Asibey, President of Ghana Armwrestling Federation (GAF) will contest for the topmost position in the Armwrestling Federation of Africa (AFA) as President.
Charles Osei Asibey, known in Ghana Sports media circle as The Barrister , is a broadcast journalist who founded the Ghana Armwrestling Federation and currently the deputy Secretary General of Armwrestling Federation of Africa (AFA)
He is the General Secretary of the Sports Writers Association Of Ghana (SWAG) former Communications Director for the Ghana Olympic Committee and the former Board Member of the Ghana Weightlifting Federation.
He led Ghana to host the unprecedented Africa Armwrestling Championship in 2018 which the World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) touted as the best every championship in Africa.
When voted into office, Ghana would make history as Osei Asibey will be the first Ghanaian to become the Vice President of any Global Sports Federation.
