LA Dodgers Africa partners Ghana Baseball & Softball Federation

Ghana Baseball and Softball Federation have reached an agreement with LA Dodgers to help develop talent in Ghana.

This partnership will see to the development of talent not only in Accra but around the country.

LA Dodgers Africa Operations team arrives on Thursday on a 10-day working visit in Accra to help unearth talents among others.

The Baseball and the Softball federation together with LA Doggers hold a press conference at the media press center in Accra Sports stadium today, to elaborate the importance of this partnership to the media.

Ernest Danso, the President of Ghana Baseball and Softball federation said.

‘This partnership is to help the less privilege and give them the opportunity to go to school for free and make something good for themselves and their family”.

“We are looking at the cooperate world but We have to do our part before we get to the cooperate bodies, so we are putting up a business people together, business people to support our athletes, coaches, so these business men will support with their own funds. When it gets to a point we need cooperate bodies, l think they will come on board to support” he added.

Will Nolden coordinator for LA Dodgers at the press conference also said “We are excited to partner the Ghana Baseball and Softball Federation to help develop talents in Ghana. Kids scouted in various regions will be sent to Uganda to play and further their Education. Scholarships will be given to athletes to study in the USA”.
