Danger Zone: Holy Dorgbetor Outboxes Success Tetteh To Win Title

In a resounding unanimous decision, Dorgbetor showcased exceptional boxing skills and outclassed Success Tetteh to claim both the Ghana Boxing Authority Ghanaian Featherweight title and the Universal Boxing Organization Inter-Continental Featherweight title.

The judges, namely Shadrack Acquaye, Clement Ashong, and Michael Neequaye, unanimously scored the fight in favor of Dorgbetor, with wide margins of 119-105, 120-105, and 120-105.

Speaking during a brief media interaction, Dorgbetor’s assistant trainer, Joshua Wiredu thanked the fans on behalf of his fighter for showing up in their numbers to support the young talent. He added that the team was always prepared to deliver nothing but the best to the fans who had always shown love when they needed it most.

“The fans have always been there for us. We really appreciate them. Without them, I don’t think we would be here. They have invested their trust and believe in us and we are not going to take that for granted. Team Holy loves you,” he said.

Meanwhile, Tanzania’s Loren Japhet delivered an impressive performance against Nigeria’s Sherif Kareem in their super bantamweight showdown, ultimately securing victory with a second-round knockout. The intense bout demonstrated Japhet’s skills and determination, making Kareem work hard for the contest.

In another thrilling match, Raphael King displayed his power and precision by delivering a fifth-round knockout to Emmanuel Allotey in their welterweight clash. The decisive victory showcased King’s prowess and solidified his standing in the welterweight division.
