Executives of the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union ( GHABSU ) had a strategic meeting with the Ghana Boxing Authority President Abraham Kotei Neequaye at the GBA Secretariat in Accra. The meeting was aimed at garnering massive following and rendering unflinching support to the nation’s gladiators both at home and abroad.
This they believe would spur our boxers on to go all out during in-ring endeavors and thereby win more world titles.
“My ultimate aim is to produce world champions before my tenure ends. And the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union is an inexorably vital partner in that regard; that’s why I want to engage you more”, the GBA Capo affirmed. The GHABSU Executives on their part thanked the President for his good works for Ghana Boxing and promised to do all they could to help him realize his goals. The year has begun on a good note with Isaac Dogboe landing a WBO Championship shot against Robeisy Ramirez, Richard Commey fighting an eliminator and Sena Agbeko close to a world title opportunity.
It can only get better.
Meanwhile both parties sent out well wishes to Ghanaian Cruiserweight champion Jacob Dickson (The Beast) who fights for the WBO Global Title against Cuban Lenar Perez in France on January 22.
