The Divas Cycling Initiative, a female Cycling outfit geared towards the empowerment of female riders in Ghana and beyond have registered four female riders ahead of the Osagyefo criterium race scheduled for the 21st of September,2022 at the Accra sports stadium.
The riders, AUGUSTINA Ameworlor, Belinda Kutiame, Charlotte Dakleti and Lovina Ese are beneficiaries of Gh400 each being sponsorship for registration and transportation.
Founder of the Divas Cycling Initiative, and a member of the Gladiators Cycling club, Mrs. Denyse Tesire was of the view that this will serve as a motivation for female participation in the Sport moving forward.

Female Cycling development is key on the Cycling calendar and it is a highly commendable how see how the Divas Cycling Initiative has taken the lead in that.
The Osagyefo criterium race is simmering with financial intentions on the 21st of September 2022 inside a rehearsed criterium of 15 Laps in the female Division with breathtaking prizes at stake.
The 6-10th winners in the female Division goes home with Gh800 each,5th place takes home Gh1000. 4th place receives Gh2000 with Gh3000 going for the 3rd place rider. The 2nd winner on the day would be smiling with Gh5000 with the ultimate prize pegged at a whooping Gh10,000.
Riders sponsored by the Divas Cycling Initiative are certainly in contention for this monies at stake but the field around the Accra sports stadium will be the final determinant.
