Ghana returned from the 2022 WAKO Zone 2 Kickboxing Championship with five medals.
Richard Asiedu (Boykaw) of the Ghana National Team “Black Terminators” was adjudged the Overall Best Fighter/Athlete of the just ended WAKO Africa Zone 2 Championship.
The Black Terminators, Ghana’s National Team performed quite good at the just ended WAKO – West Africa Zone 2 Championship (6th – 10th July, 2022) in Cote d’Ivoire.
Edmond Atakor – 63 kg and Richard Asiedu – 70 kg won gold medals. Charles Lamptey – 60.1kg got a silver medal, while Michael Acheampong – 65 kg and Lucky Sarfo – 70 kg brought home bronze medals
Their performance was described as “Rugged To Glory”.
“The resilience and tanacity of the Team has flames of hope and greats of the future of Kickboxing in the country” said Sensei George Slater Commodore.
