The Ghana Boxing IMC has announced that nominations for interested candidates opens this Thursday 14 May to next Tuesday 19 May for an official confirmation by 22-23 May for elections at an Extraordinary Congress that will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium on 4 June.
A 3-member committee to handle the elections headed by IMC chief Samir Captan will be announced soon.
News reaching Yours Truly indicate that two people are in pole position for the Presidetial Race, they are Ivan Bruce Cudjoe and Rabbon Dodoo.
For the Vice President position are Rofer Barnor, Ellis Quaye, Dave Bishop and Ernest Ofori.
Mubarak Yusif Nanor also declared his interest in an Executive member position,
All these aspirants have to get the nomination forms before they would be taken as seriously contesting.
