Ambassador of Switzerland to Ghana, Simone Giger hosts Black Bombers at her residence
The Ambassador of Switzerland to Ghana, Simone Giger has hosted the Black Bombers of the Ghana Elite Boxing Team.
The visit was led by Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) President, Dauda Fuseni, together with his executives and the new national team, as part of efforts to strengthen relations and support the development of boxing in Ghana.

HE Simone Giger who revealed that she did not like boxing initially because she thought it was a violence sport fell in love with the sport when she attended the finals of the National Individual Championship at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
She disclosed that boxing is great fun and hope to continue watching boxing especially in Ghana.
“The Black Bombers are potential medal winners at all championships” said the President of the Ghana Boxing Federation Dauda Fuseni ewho led the delegation to the residence of the Swiss Ambassador.

The delegation included First Vice President Nii Gonti Adjor 1 aka Nii Adama Addy, Second Vice President Solomon Otoo Lartey, Treasurer Mustapha Nettey, Executive Member George Lamptey and Coach Ebenezer Adjei aka ‘Killer’ of the Black Panthers Gym.
The Black Bombers comprised the finalists of the Individual Champioonship. They are scheduled to represent Ghana at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Scotland and Youth Olympic Games in Senegal.
