NMTC Korle Bu to honour Hon. Okoe Vanderpuije and Shatta Wale at SRC 2026 Awards Night

The Korle-Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training College (NMRC) will celebrate this year’s students representative council (SRC) week between April 10 and 20 with exciting activities and climaxed with an awards ceremony in honour of the sitting Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma South, Hon. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije and top musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah (Shatta Wale) aka King of Afro Dance Hall.

Others who have projected and impacted the constituency and health educational institution will be recognised.

According to Ms. Isabella Akor Siakor General Secretary of the NMTC Korle Bu, the line up is exciting and their over 2000 students are ready to unite and celebrate.

On Tuesday April 11 is the Sports and Entertainment day for Aerobics. Sack Race Football and Didi Shito Longest Table.

Wednesday April 12 a bonfire and Jalabia night while Thursday April 13 has been fixed for a high school rep quiz and Indomie cookaton on Friday April 14 as well as Open Day / Entrepreneurship and Exhibition Game Night which is heralded by come activities on Saturday April 15.

April 16 is support Ghana Black Stars Day since football is the passion of the nation and Ghana is among the countries that have qualified for the FIFA World Cup.

Day 8 April 17 is no bag day when a blood donation exercise has been scheduled and the much anticipated pageantry and awards night.

Day 9 April 18 is planned for a community health screening and day 10 April 20 will be for Thanksgiving.
