President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku has opened the CAF Licence A Coaching Course at the Technical Centre of the Football Association in Prampram,
He urged participants to embrace the responsibility of raising the standard of coaching in Ghana.

According to Okraku, since assuming office, his team has placed coach education at the heart of the development agenda. From offering free tuition at the grassroots level, including targeted support for female coaches, to sponsoring international attachments for coaches in England and Germany, our approach has been anchored on knowledge acquisition, global exposure and continuous professional development as catalysts for long-term improvement.

He spoke candidly to the participants about the urgent need to elevate standards. Progress requires honesty and honesty demands that we acknowledge where improvement is needed.
He admonished the elite coaches to abandon destructive professional rivalries and end the culture of sabotage that undermines collective growth.
“Football thrives on collaboration, continuity and mutual respect, not division” he said.

Kurt Okraku ended that the Football Association remains firmly committed to educating, empowering and equipping our coaches with the tools they need to succeed.

The coaches include John Painsil, Godwin Attram, Laryea Kingston, John Oppong Welberk, Hamza Mohammed and other popular ex players.
