The President of Ayawaso Cerebral Palsy Football club Mr. Emmanuel Akpabli has indicated his utmost readiness to revive the sunken image of CP FOOTBALL in the country.

Speaking to Ultimate Sports show host Dennis Kweku Moore on HSTV over the weekend, the hardworking sports administrator ,who has relived the hopes and aspirations of CP FOOTBALL in Ghana over the past periods, is of high hopes Ghana will bounce back in the development of the sport.

Mr. Akpabli, who returned from the United Kingdom on a sports administration study on Para Sports, is already grooming over 30 CP footballers across the country.

The Ayawaso Cerebral Palsy Football club is the first club to be formed in the country in the last 2 years and has since been the revival focus of the sport in Ghana.

It would be recalled somewhere last 3 years the CP FOOTBALL national team engaged their Nigerian counterparts in Ghana under the supervision of club President Mr. Akpabli. That game lifted the ranking of Ghana on the world stage.

With extensive focus on programmes this year, Mr. Akpabli was of the view that more seminars, and workshops is necessary to the understanding of the game.

Mr. Akpabli has already hit the grounds with intense training with his club and will have some local and international engagements in the not too distant future.
