Besesaka Boxucation Summer Camp 2022 Begins

Besesaka is once again changing the realities of children in Bukom through boxing, education and leadership development.

They are telling the other side of the story: through boxing, education and leadership, we empower

According to C. Nortey, the brain behind the project, boxing kids must not only see the power they possess themselves but, also rediscover themselves as strong-spirited, passionate, unified and proud children of their communities.

The Besesaka Foundation, the Ghana Juvenile Boxing Federation, the Bukom Community and Delegate A/S are organising the third Boxucation Summer Camp for 50 boys and girls. Besides boxing, the participants will be exposed to various subjects like leadership, IT, videography, photography, music, painting and psychology.

The Besesaka and Boxucation is trying to develop better leaders to make the world a better place to live.

“In 3 years of Besesaka, we must thank the communities in the Jamestown area, our scholars and their families for supporting our vision. We have big ambitions to unlock the full potential of our youth and this wouldn’t be possible without them. Likewise we are grateful to count with the unconditional support of our international partners Delegate and Pink Elephant, two organizations which understand contributing to projects like ours adds purpose to their mission. This August we will be hosting a group of them to show them the true power of our people and look forward to exchanging with them” said C. Nortey, a former goal keeper based in Denmark who has love for juvenile boxing.
