Ghana’s male and female Table Tennis teams have qualified for the ITTF World Table Tennis Championship to take place next year in Durban, South Africa.
The females won silver, while the males took the bronze in the Team qualifiers in Lagos, Nigeria.
The female team include Cynthia Kwabi, Eva Adom Amankwa, Celia Baah Danso, Milicent Ankude,, Blessing Labanti
The male team comprise Derek Abrefa, Emmanuel Commey, Bernard Joe Sam Emmanuel Asante and Emmanuel Ofori
The Black Loopers have qualified to World Table tennis Championship, and are hoping for support from corporate Ghana and individuals who love the Ping Pong game.
Reports reaching Yours Truly state that the competition was keen as every player put up splendid performance.
Top seed of Ghana, Derek Abrefa was the only Ghanaian to make it into the top 8 to qualify Ghana to the Singles at the World Table Tennis Championship in 2023.
