Ghana will be represented at the 8th Cana Zone 2 Swimming and Open Water Championship in Dakar, Senegal from the 27th to 29th May,2022 with eight top swimmers who have distinguished themselves in the water sport.
Olympian Abeku Gyekye Jackson will lead Team Ghana and supported by Kow Assafuah Jackson, Papa Yaw Poku-Dwomoh, Christian Nortey, Nubia Adjei, Unilez Takyi , Zara Forson and Kaya Forson. These swimmers have proved to be adequately ready to compete in the championship.
Isaac Gyamfi who has unearth talents for African Sharks Swimming Club in Kumasi will be the technical head as coach. Team Ghana have paraded strong Boys and Girls for this 8th Cana Zone 2 Swimming and Open Water Championship in Dakar, Senegal.
Ghana made a strong case for itself when we hosted the 7th edition here at the Bukom International Pool at the Trust Emporium. There will be 22 other countries battling it out against the Ghanaians.
