The Ghana Weightlifting Federation of Ghana will on Wednesday 12th February, 2025 commission their renovated training center at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hon. Jerry Ahmed Shaib is the President of the Federation and he says the main motivation of the athletes and coaches is a place to train with all the facilities like changing rooms rest rooms etc and basic equipment, especially weights.
Ghana has been doing well in Weightlifting and if the athletes are given attention they will perform better.
The National Weightlifting Training Center is located the Accra Sports Stadium.
