Sammy Heywood Okine, editor in chief at ultimatesportsghana.com and AndyGlow TV owned by C.A. Chag is optimistic Ghana Football in particular and Ghana Sports in general will rise again.

He noted that the change in government in Ghana has brought something new and special hence it will affect the economy, people and the passion of the nation which is football.

He expressed that the Black Stars struggled and could not qualify for the 2025 African Cup because many Ghanaians were peeved. however some relief and hope has come and if things are managed well the Black Stars can qualify to the next FIFA World Cup

In the free and fair elections, former president HE John Mahama polled 56.55% while Dr. Bawumia the vice president who got 41.61% conceded defeated in the early hours of Sunday morning as he called the victor and also organised a Press Conference to concede.

After the Electoral Commissioner, Mrs. Jean Mensa declared the winner in the Presidential it was jubilation galore all over the nation.north. south  east and west.

The President Nana Akufo Addo invited John Dramani Mahama and both leaders constituted their transition teams for a smooth handover on January 7th 2025.

Ghana is an example of democracy in Africa.

Most Ghanaian sports enthusiasts like Sammy Heywood Okine aka General One are optimistic that the fortunes of Ghana sports will change from bad to good, such as the performance of the Black Stars as they prepare for the next FIFA World Cup in 2026.
