The final of the first functional fitness championship comes off at the Idrowhyt Events Centre on Sunday, November 24 at 5pm.
The first day at the Zulka Astro Turf Park on Saturday was successful as 12 athletes divided into two groups of six competitors who were drawn from the regions did very well to qualify and win the handsome prizes at stake.
According to Mr. Charles Owusu Ansah, the Functional Sports League Ghana is hosting the two days intense contest to inspire athleticism and urged the youth of Ghana to get involved in functional fitness which is a day to day sporting activity, like sitting, lifting and jumping.

Mr Charles Owusu Ansah said the athletes went through six test routines namely Endurance, Strength, Bodyweight, Power, Mixed, and Skill.
