Mr. Francis Okyere aka Franko, chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Kickboxing Association says the sport which has been dull for sometime will be vibrant again.
Speaking to Yours Truly in an exclusive interview, the former fighter now administrator and manager of Kickboxing said things will be better for the sport.
“We have good fighters in Ghana, our problem is events and promotions” he stressed.
According to Mr. Okyere, Kickboxing is a great sport that must be supported. He noted that there are many fighters who are hungry to fight.
He appealed to companies to come on board to support the sport.
He also thanked all the former presidents of the Ghana Kickboxing Association like the late Col Sharpe, Nii Adotey Dzata 1 and Raja.
According to him Ghana has huge potential and the fighters must be supported.
He hinted that plans are advanced to make Kickboxing the best sport in Ghana.
He noted that Greater Accra is the center of all activities in Ghana and the sport of Kickboxing is going to have a new face and direction.
