Dauda Fuseni urges Black Rockets to go for honour and fight for glory at IBA World Youth Tourney

Vice President of the Ghana Boxing Federation Alhaji Dauda Fuseni has urged the national youth boxing team, the Black Rockets to go to the world boxing tournament in Montenegro with the aim of building their reputation and proving that they are stars of the future.

After receiving the visas for the trip, the hard working boxing official visited the Charles Quartey Boxing Foundation Gym where they train and advised them to go out there and show the world their talent.

He noted that this is the first time all of them are travelling outside Ghana and should count themselves lucky to represent the nation and also go and learn to become better boxers for the future.

“This is just the beginning of your boxing career if you want to become a world hero, so go and show it, remember to be disciplined, respectful and responsible ” he stressed.

According to the GBF Veep over 80 nations are coming for the IBA World youth boxing championship, and it is an opportunity to display and become a rising super star.

He advised the young boxers aged between 17 and 19 to avoid complacency, pride and arrogance and be obedient to their trainers.

Six boxers will represent Ghana. They will be handled by Coach Charles Quartey.

The other officials supporting leader of delegation, Dauda Fuseni are Mustapha Nettey and Solomon Otoo.
