The Ghana Cricket Association (GCA), will hold its annual congress on Saturday, October 19, at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium in Accra at 10 a.m.
The congress, which would be chaired by the President of the Ghana Cricket Association, Mr Emmanuel Asare, would be attended by delegates forming the General Assembly.
Speaking to the media ahead of the congress, Mr Asare noted that the agenda for the day would be a presentation and approval of their auditor’s report as well as proposals for amendments to the GCA constitution from the delegates.
According to him, the highlight of the day would be his report to Congress, which would feature Ghana’s successful hosting of the 2023 African Games, the redevelopment of the Achimota Cricket Oval, and other events that happened within the year.
He tasked all stakeholders to be present to affirm activities and developmental programmes for the next cricket season. From Sammy Heywood Okine
