Team Ghana will make a vibrant cultural statement by wearing traditional Fugu attire at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The Fugu also called Batakari is a hand woven smock popular in northern Ghana, recognized for its distinct patterns and cultural significance.
This choice highlights Ghana’s rich heritage and promotes the country’s traditional craftsmanship on the global stage.
Sprinter Joe Paul Amoah and High Jumper Rose A. Yeboah will be Ghana’s flag bearers.
