Chairman of the Heroes Supporters Union of Ghana, Mr. Alex Ahenfo on behalf of all his members all over Ghana and abroad extended their sincere congratulations to the National Amputee Football Team of Ghana for reaching the final of the African Cup for the third time in a row.
He said Ghana has talents in both able and disable athletes and urged them not to give up in life, but take every situation as positive and make the best out of it.
According to Mr. Ahenfo, the achievement of the Black Challenge must be rewarded because they are just like the Black Stars or any other national team, and they are giving the people something to cheer about to make them happy.
“Though there are no fans or supporters in Cairo, we are with the Black Challenge in spirit and we are supporting them fully” he said.
Meanwhile, one of the players Cephas Anum, who plays for Konyaspor Amputee S. K – Turkey has thanked all his fans and friends for remembering them in prayers. He promised that Ghana will certainly win the cup.
“Our target is the World Cup as we want to show the world that there is a country called Ghana with talented and skillful people” he expressed.
