National Cruiserweight Champion, tall handsome Haruna Mohammed who was born and bred in Accra has expressed that his focus is to become a world champion in future, so he is very focused towards his ambition in life.
Speaking to Yours Truly on Omashi TV last Friday evening on ‘The Big Fight Night’ show, he said currently he is proud to be the Ghana National Champion and celebrating his reign.
He noted that the bigger titles on the continental level are his targets and thanked his managers, SP Management as well as his gym members at the Wisdom Boxing Club, especially coach Asare and administrator Sarah Lotus for their motivation and encouragement.
“I am ready for anyone including the immediate past champion, Jacob Dickson, As a boxer I don’t fear any one. If we get a promoter with a good package, am ready to go” he said.
Haruna aka ‘Thunder’ had some amateur experience before turning pro and his five bouts to his name, won four and losing one indicate that people fear to face him. His idol is Deontey Wilder.
His co manager Samuel Darkwah of SP Sports Management says they are ready to push him to the top.
