Ghana’s Abeiku Jackson on Tuesday won the men’s 100m butterfly re-swim, but got BRONZE instead of GOLD.
It was his second medal at the 13th African Games in Accra, Ghana. He did a time of 53.80 secs against 53.29secs by Nasr Abdulla and Eaton Jardan of Egypt.
Abeiku Jackson thus gives Ghana the fifth medal at the Games which would certainly improve their stand on the medals table.
