A new sand facility for beach sporting events has been constructed at the University of Education at Winneba by the Footvolley Association of Ghana and their international partners.
Hon. Mustapha Mohammed, President of the Federation said the court to play on is very important and was happy that they will serve others beach volleyball.
He expressed that there is a training program going on before a competition during the week.
According to Hon. Mohammed, the Footvolley Association of Ghana in partnership with the Association Footvolley for All has provided accommodation, food and drink to all participants in the ongoing first-ever training camp starting from 17th-20th February 2024 and the maiden edition of the Ghana International Footvolley Cup from 22nd to 23rd February, 2024 at the University of Education, Winneba.
He appealed to the media to promote Footvolley which is fast growing in the world.
“We are building this sandy facility for beach sporting events in the University, and we want the Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as the NSA and GOC to see our efforts” he expressed.
