Ghana’s Sheriff Quaye, the WBO Africa Lightweight Champion has been presented with the World Boxing Organisation WBO Africa Best Fighter Of The Year 2023 Award by Mr. Samir Captan, the WBO Africa representative.
The presentation took place at the Golden Beach Hotel at Korle Gonno in Accra last Saturday during two WBO Africa title bouts.
Mr. Samir Captan commended Quaye for putting the name of Ghana high on the map of world boxing. He urged him to train harder to defend his title and go up to the top five rankings.
Sheriff Quaye who was so happy thanked all those who have supported him to reach this height, especially his trainer, Coach Lawrence Carl Lokko and his managers, Swavy Blu Boxing Promotions.
