The Local Organising Committee (LOC) is working over time to catch up with the missing days and date to honour the 13th African Games in Accra, Ghana.
Five events are being held in 12 days to whip up advertisement and publicity on the Games which comes up from March 8 to 23, 2024.
The theme song of the Games was launch yesterday, December 22 and a float /Walk today Saturday, December 23, 2023.
The city of Takoradi in the Western Region will celebrate with masquraders tomorrow, Sunday.
Executive Chairman of the LOC, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu-Asare thanked every participant of the activities, especially the Big Mamas from the Di Asa Family.
“We are getting near and close, we hope to make it happen in Ghana. We will surprise people that we promised and delivered” he assured.
Mr. Dan Kwaku Yeboah also commended the media who are supporting the LOC with good spirit and positive attitude.
