UCI VICE PRESIDENT/ CAC PRESIDENT SET TO LAND IN ACCRA TOMORROW.

As part of preparations towards the upcoming African Games next year, the President of the Confederation of African Cycling -CAC Dr. Wagih Azzam is set to visit the country from the 21st – 24th February,2022.

During his visit he would be expected to meet with the AFRICA CYCLING PRESIDENT/ UCI VICE PRESIDENT SET TO LAND IN ACCRA TOMORROW.

As part of preparations towards the upcoming African Games next year, the President of the Confederation of African Cycling -CAC Dr. Waggih Azzam is set to visit the country from the 21st – 24th February,2022. He is accompanied by the CAC General Secretary, Mr Mohammed Bashir of Nigeria.

During his visit he is expected to meet with the Minister of Sport and hierarchy of the Local Organizing Committee of the Africa Games.

Dr. Wagih Azzam will also use his influence on the African continent to seek to resolve the issues surrounding the Games with AASC

He will visit the proposed Cycling route for the games at Anyaa – Ablekuma – Pokuasi road, Accra.

The affable Egyptian administrator has served on the World Cycling body over the last twelve years and has served as African President for over 14 years.
