Manny Pacquiao’s hopes of representing the Philippines in the Olympics have been shattered and hindered by his age.
At 44 years old, he is no longer eligible to enter the Games because, according to the International Olympic Committee, the age limit is only 41.
Boxers born between January 1, 1980, and December 31, 2002, can enter the qualification tournaments.
