Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Afriyie Sabbi has completed a transfer to French club Le Havre from Danish side Odense BK during the ongoing transfer window.
The versatile attacker, who also holds American-Ghanaian dual nationality, has finalized a four-year contract with Le Havre, binding him to the club until June 2027.
As part of the agreed deal, Odense BK will receive a sum of €1 million in addition to potential bonuses, along with a percentage of any future transfer fees if Sabbi is transferred again.
Although born in Vicenza, Italy, Sabbi spent his formative years in Ohio, USA.
During his youth, he showcased his talents with several soccer clubs, including Blast FC, Ohio Premier Soccer, and Chicago Magic.
Notably, he played a pivotal role in Ohio Premier Soccer’s victory in the US Youth Soccer National Championship. Sabbi’s professional journey has also taken him to Las Palmas and Hobro IK.
Earlier this year, Sabbi achieved a significant milestone by making his senior debut for the United States Men’s National Soccer Team in a friendly match against Colombia in January.
Prior to this achievement, he had already represented the USA in various age groups, including U18, U20, and U23 levels.
