The now revived Bukom Boxing Gym located in the heart of Boxing’s unheralded gold mine: The Bukom vicinity, is once again looking to churn out a potential world beater in young Majid Amadu , a nineteen year old fighter seeking glory in the squared circle.
He has a date with Robert Lokko on the ongoing National Amateur Individual Championships organized by the Ghana Boxing Federation at the Accra Sports Stadium later today and is brimming with verve, vivacity and conviction.
” I want to remind everyone that Boxing is made in Bukom. I’m an indigene of Bukom thus, any opponent I face must succumb”, Majid stated.
Trainer and sports reporter Augustus Dodoo aka ” One Life” has no doubt in the abilities of Amadu and believes he’ll earn a slot in the next Black Bombers.
