The Ghana Jiu Jitsu Federation in conjunction with the Central Regional Sports Directorate is facilitating a training programme and workshop at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on the 2nd and 3rd June 2023.
Speaking on the event Mr. Tieku Alexander was upbeat about the development and benefits it would bring on board. He expressed hope that more of such would be welcomed into the region.
The Jiu Jitsu Federation has already put together a similar workshop in Accra in April ahead of the Greater Accra Open Combat Championships.
Under the administration of President, Maxwell Borquaye and his vice, Evans Bernie Johnson, the federation is making giant strides and has a host of international and local engagements lined up for the year and beyond.
The federation expressed gratitude to Electroland Ghana Limited for consistently proffering immense support in all endeavors.
Head Coach of the National Jiu Jitsu Team, Daniel Earll, who is based in Cape Coast was optimistic of the event’s success and promised imminent glory days for the Jiu Jitsu team which is set to emplane for Kazakhstan to participate in a tournament.
